JOY Banner

Welcome,

This JOY banner could be made with full sheets of paper or with scraps.  The size of the banner is 4" x 6" for each panel.  A Ellison die was used to cut the letters.  You can use any letters of your choice or even use your Cricut to cut out your letters.

Papers and Images used are from Pinecone Press .

Directions:

Cut 3 pieces of chipboard 4" x 6". Ink edges all around.

Cut cardstock base for each panel 4" x 6". Ink edges all around.  Attach ribbon and borders to cardstock panels.  Adhere to chipboard.

Cut out your letters from solid or printed cardstock. Attach ribbon to letters if you want.

Cut squares for matting letters slightly larger than letters. Use corner rounder to round edges of squares. Attach ribbon around squares if you want. Mount letters to squares with pop-dots.  Adhere to cardstock panels using pop-dots for more dimension.

Cut out images from die sheet and adhere to panels.

Punch holes for ribbon to join panels together. Tie panels together.

Add embellishments such as buttons, glitter, stickles.

Easy Circle Ornaments

These ornaments are very easy to make.  A great project for kids to make. They are small enouh you could use up scraps of paper to make these. 

Supplies:

Circle punch - 3 " and 2 1/2" used in samples

Decorative cardstock - click to purchase

Ribbon - click to purchase

Charms - click to purchase

Glue

Double sided tape - click to purchase

Punch out 6 circles for each ornament.  You can use two different patterns cardstock as used in samples or use one pattern for each ornament. Make them look like grandmas crazy quilt by making each circle a different pattern.

Fold each circle in half with print facing itself.

Glue one half of the circle to one half of another circle, aligning scallops. Continue to glue one half of the next circle to the prior half circle.  Do this until you have all six circles glued together except do not join the last half to the first half of circles.

Make a loop for the top of the ornament. Add charm to ribbon. Open the ornament, apply some tape along the center of ornament. Lay ribbon accross the center of the ornament with the ends of the ribbon in the center of the ornament. Glue the ornament shut, gluing the last and the first halves together.

Tea Bag Holder

Today I have a quick Tea Bag Holder project for you.  As we prepare for Christmas and the year soon comes to a close, I am sure many of you as with myself, pause for a moment and reflect on the past year. We remember all the fun and wonderful times shared with family and friends.  We also remember the sad and unpleasant moments we may have had. We look forward to the new year with hope that all will be good.  The message inside the Tea Bag holder says "On Christmas Day. At half past three. Have yourself a cup of tea.  I'll think of you. You'll think of me. Sitting around the Christmas tree." What a sweet gift to tuck inside the gifts you give family and friends.  It encourages all of us to take time and pause for a moment from our busy lives and reflect on the times shared together. Pretty Gift Wrapping

Welcome,

Have started to finish your Holiday shopping?  Now it's time to wrap up the gifts.  Here are some wrapping ideas for small gifts. Hand made boxes are quick and easy when you have some cardstock on-hand. Our boxes were die cut. You can come into our store and die cut your own.  Patterns are attached for you to print out.  Trace the pattern onto cardstock and cut out.

New Monthly Options Kits

Welcome,

We are excited to announce this months Options Kits.  This months kits are flavored with cooking designs. Both kits offer a completly different look. Options Kit A features the Domestic Goddess paper from Graphic 45. With this kit you can make a great little recipe book to give to someone special, create a few cards or a layout.

 

Options Kit B features the brand new 'C' is for Cookies paper from Pinecone Press.  This kit is Great for your Holiday Cookie Exchanges.  A recipe holder book is perfect to hold all the new recipes you receive from your cookie exchange. The punch outs can be used for cards or gift giving.

Dress up your Gift Cards

Welcome,

Gift cards are a popular gift giving item. They make great gifts for those hard to shop for family members, friends and co-workers. Presentation of your gift card does not have to be in a plain white envelope.  We have several dressed up ideas and a fun interactive slider card to present your gift card in. Here are some ideas for gift cards. Fill with gift cards for the movies, favorite video/music store, clothing outlet, fast food places, miniature golf or bowling places.  Also great for the young adult that has everything.  Include the above and also appreciated cards for gas stations and grocery market.  A nice extra bonus would be coupons for a date with mom or dad. Coupons for an older adult to take them to a special place.  Be creative!!

Golden Star Centerpiece

Welcome,

This beautiful golden star will look elegant on your mantel, coffee table, dining table or anywhere you want to display it.  It can be decorated with or without photos.  The paper used on this project is from Fancy Pants.  We used our Options Kit 3-A  to decorate the project. The kit does come with gold chipboard and a pattern for you to cut your own star.  If you would like to have the star pre-cut for you, you can order them here.
